System Restore Points

The installation file will offer to create a System Restore Point prior to installing Network Drive Control. Windows may restrict how often System Restore Points can be created. The default in Windows 8, 10 & 11 is one System Restore Point every 24 hours. If you install before this interval has elapsed, the installer may relay Windows reporting that it successfully created a Restore Point when in fact Windows did not. This is a Windows issue, not a Network Drive Control installer issue. (i.e. The installer is just telling you what Windows is telling it.) Windows Vista & 7 do not have this 24 hour default System Restore interval.

There are other settings or conditions your computer may have that can also result in the installer relaying Windows reporting that it successfully created a Restore Point when in fact Windows did not.
