1. Before you run Network Drive Controller (NDC) and configure it to start mapping your network drives in a network specific manner, you first should verify that you can map the drive through Windows Explorer's "Map network drive" menu selection. If you can't map it through Windows Explorer, you won't be able to map it through Network Drive Controller (NDC). NDC only adds network sensitivity to Windows built in network drive mapping.


2. You also need to first tell Windows to unmap all network drives it is presently configured to try to map upon login. If Windows is set to try to map a drive upon boot or login, that will preempt Network Drive Controller (NDC). 


3. Make sure you have all Windows Updates installed.
