Flush DNS Cache Information
The "Flush Cache" button tells Windows to remove all entries from the cache.. However, the cache will be repopulated instantly from the hosts file, as well as reverse lookup pointer records generated by entries in the hosts file (which will usually have a .arpa. suffixed listing in the Record Name column). Depending what other software you have running, and that software's needs to internet access, those entries may repopulate almost instantly as well. Cloud drives (Sharepoint, Dropbox, Google Drives, etc.) are good examples that have near constant access to the cloud servers, and so whose DNS cache entries may repopulate almost instantly. Because of this "instant re-population" of some entries in your PC's DNS Cache, you'll never see it empty.
