Network Drive Control can be configured to create a log file of it's actions when it runs. The log file contains diagnostic information that may be useful to me when debugging, so I may ask a user who is asking for help to turn this feature on & email me the file. The files are written to the "NDC Logs" subdirectory of the user's My Documents folder, and have a file name that is date coded in the form of NDClogmm-dd-yyyy.log where mm is the month, dd the day, and yyyy is the year the file was created (e.g. NDClog12-03-2016.log). The files are written in plain text, and contain time stamped entries that tell me when & where in the program's execution it was when it wrote the entry, and occasionally will also contain data such as the number of drives, drive letters, network names or server paths.  No credential info such as UserID's or Passwords are ever written to the log files.

To turn on logging, select the Help menu, and click on "Logging On". If the checkbox for this feature is checked, both the Console and the run time modules will create or add to the log file.

The default is to not automatically create a log file, as such files can start using a considerable amount of disk space rather quickly. If you turn it on, I would suggest you not leave it on any longer than necessary.
